Raul Rubiera was born in Cuba and grew-up in Peru. In 2016 he retired from photojournalism and embarked on a new journey making abstract sculpture art with 3d printing. He finds that this is a good medium for him to discover and produce new work. During the last 3 years his work has been shown in several exhibitions around North Carolina His work is abstract in nature and non-representative.
