when switching from PLA to PETG will the A1 automatically change to a new preset defaults for that filament? Do I need to change out any hardware- is there a different tip I should be using?

Can you pause a print in the middle? Lets say overnite, and will the printer start back where it left off? is there anything to consider- will it run through a test some how and re-key into the Print somehow? Do I just hit the pause button, and then wait as long as I want to restart?
