UK electrical outlets (BS 1363) feature an earth pin socket intended for the robust grounding provided by UK three-pin plugs. However, many European appliances use a two-pin plug design that lacks a dedicated earth connection, which can compromise stability when connected to UK sockets. Our Earth Pin Insert bridges that gap by providing a mechanical and grounding interface that allows these EU plugs to sit in UK sockets. This is for CEE 7/16 plug to be able to fit into UK SOCKET.

I had to make this because I wanted to mount this switch to my cabinet for the cabinet lights. The switch has a side action or downwards action, but the mounting is through the centre. So I mounted it 90 degrees rotated so I can mount it to the side board of the cabinet.
