This model has been designed to allow the user to check the wheel spacing (gauge) of model train locomotives, carriages and wagons. Model train derailments are often caused by wheels being out of gauge. You can adjust the spacing by spreading or squeezing the wheels on their axle. The gauge prints accurately at 14.5mm with Bambu Basic PLA on my A1.

Great model. Couldn't get the doors to sit right so I glued them in. Used some transparent film for the windows. The gaps on the roof where the doors attach were very wide so I printed a filler section to cover them. Otherwise it came out well. Thanks

Best re-usable spool I've printed. The screw does not come apart like the clip in types can (and do). All my future spools will be using this version. Thanks

This tool allows the user to easily push a rail joiner onto HO/OO rail. Place a rail joiner in the pocket, line up with the end of the rail and push the connector home. This saves possible finger injury when fitting tight rail joiners and overall makes an easy job of an often fiddly task. As an added bonus the tool has been scaled to also check the internal wheel spacing (gauge) of locomotives and rolling stock.

This is my version of a insulated rail joiner for model train track (HO or OO scale). As the joiner is very small a 0.2 nozzle should be used. It prints well in both PLA and PETG. I hope you find this model useful.
