I’m experiencing a very strange problem with my printer and AMS, and I can’t figure out what’s causing it because this issue never happened before. Whenever I print with a single colour, the printer works perfectly from start to finish. There are no feeding problems, and the print quality is normal. However, the moment I start a print with two or more colours, the printer reaches the second colour and reports that the extruder is blocked. Naturally, I assumed there was an actual clog, so I completely disassembled the extruder to inspect it. Everything looked perfectly fine, and I found no blockage at all. What makes this even more confusing is that after getting the “extruder blocked” error during a multi-colour print, I can immediately start a single-colour print and it works flawlessly. This clearly shows that the extruder is not actually blocked and is capable of printing normally. Single-colour prints work 100% perfectly. Multi-colour prints consistently fail when switching to the second colour. The printer reports an “extruder blocked” error. I have already disassembled and inspected the extruder and found no blockage. Even after the error occurs, single-colour prints still work perfectly. This is what makes the problem so bizarre. If the extruder were genuinely blocked, I would expect single-colour prints to fail as well, but they don’t. The issue only appears during colour changes, which makes me suspect that the problem is related to the AMS, filament switching, or something else involved in the multi-colour process rather than an actual clogged extruder. Has anyone experienced something similar or have any ideas about what could be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated because I’m completely stumped.
