When installing the movement into the case, slip this spacer in after the movement is seated. Starting at the crown tube, carefully press the spacer in, and work your way around to the other side of the crown tube until the spacer is fully seated. Use a watchmaker's flathead screwdriver or flat-headed tweezers. Sharp points will deform the plastic.
