Then, one day, staring at the boring, old-school clock on my wall, it hit me: why not let them tell the time? [The Concept: Building an Island Resort] If I was going to do this, a standard flat clock face just wouldn't do my babies justice. I wanted something 3D, something full of life. For the color palette, I ditched the monotonous solid colors and ultimately settled on a "Beach and Waves" theme. Using irregular, wavy curves, I divided the clock face into a warm, orange-yellow sandy beach and an ocean of varying shades of blue. Looking at this little landscape, it feels like I’ve built a private island resort for my classic and new-gen starter Pokémon. Even checking the time comes with a hint of a summer sea breeze! [The Highlight: Exclusive "Diving Boards" for Roster Changes] My absolute favorite clever little detail in the whole design is the small white shelves! Gluing the figures directly onto the clock face would be way too rigid. Instead, I designed exclusive little seats that look like diving boards. Paired with the staggered numbers, they land perfectly on the hour marks. The best part? The positions are completely interchangeable! If I’m in a good mood today, Charmander can take the "12 o'clock shift." If I want to switch things up tomorrow, I can easily bring in other figures that have been gathering dust. This clock is an ever-updating display stand! [The Finish Line: When Time Takes a Tangible Shape] The moment I hung the finished piece on the wall, the sense of accomplishment was off the charts. Checking the time used to come with that anxious "Oh no, is it that late already?" feeling. But now, it's become a tiny moment of anticipation and healing. When I'm tired from work and look up, my brain goes: "Wow, before I knew it, it's already 'Bulbasaur o'clock,' time to get ready to clock out!" This is a DIY wall clock I designed that can hold various small figurines. The clock mechanism used is the Bambu Lab MH011. The sandy beach color uses a golden yellow, while the blue parts can be freely matched. The overall design embodies a seaside beach vibe, capable of accommodating figurines up to 4cm in length and 4cm in width. Everyone is also welcome to modify the lengths of the panels.
