A simple solution to help stop the partly used tubes of silicone sealent / glue to be usable by having a sealing cap on the tube that provides an air tight seal.

Our local council started a soft plastic recycling program that used an orange plastic bag that would be placed in your standard recycle bin. The bag sitting on the kitchen bench did not look the best, so we wanted a bin that would not have the bag showing on the outside. So a soft plastic recycle bin was designed. To help with printing, the handle screws on, thus also allowing the handle to be printed in different materials or colours.

Compost sitting in a bowl on the bench is not very attractive, as well as the fly's it attracts. The compost bags don't last, and after a couple of days trying to pick them up usually meant cleaning up the mess. So a bin was needed, but one that the bag was kept out of sight and a way to manage the smell. A self sealing bin with internal bag and bag retainer was designed. A few different sizes were considered, the 200W x 150D x 175H suited most compost bags.

After purchasing a new show rose and arm, Posh Bristal part number: 9504689, it was not long before the shower rose and arm would not stay up. A small tool was supplied to assist with tightening the arm, however this did not stay tight for long, the weight of the shower rose and head caused the pivots to loosen and shower head to fall down. A bracket would be needed to hold up the shower head arm without needing to permanent install by gluing or screwing the bracket onto the wall.

After building an item that used M3 Hex screws, I found that my hand was a bit saw from all the screwing in using the open-ended hex screw drivers. The swivel end is often found on the high end (high priced) screw drivers with small tips and some hex drivers. The more economically priced hex drivers have an open end. I looked at the high-end hex drivers, and they had this nice swivel on the end that rests in the palm of your hand and allows you to keep pressure on the screw driver.
