This custom case is designed to enhance the utility of the Hytera MD785G transceiver. Built around a 6x6 Gridfinity standard, it allows for the vertical stacking of multiple units, a feature critical to our setup which utilizes both 2m and 70cm versions of the radio. The Gridfinity compatibility also ensures easy, modular storage within existing Gridfinity drawers or base systems. The case is easily printable using PLA filament and requires a standard 254mmx254mm print bed.

This design offers a minimalist solution for transporting Gridfinity bins, especially those typically stored in drawers, as demonstrated by "Hands on Katie." Modular Assembly: By separating the hinges and locks, the design allows you to print parts for a 6x6 case on a Bambu Lab A1 printer, maximizing the use of its build volume. The Onshape model is freely available, so you can use it to create your own customized versions of the case.
