I designed this chess set for a project that uses RFID tags in each piece and scanners beneath the board to track game positions. To fit the scanners, I made the bases slightly larger. The pieces turned out so well that I replaced my home set with them. The bottoms are hollow to fit tungsten weights, giving them a nice, balanced feel. It's been a fun project and happy to share what I've done thus far.

I was always losing my weed wacker spools. I’d buy them in packs of eight, but they’d disappear into drawers or bins. So I finally came up with a solution: a dispenser. Now, when I buy new spools, I can put them straight into the dispenser where they’re easy to see. Hopefully, this helps others as much as it’s helped me.
