Software developer by trade, I like designing organization models, using OpenSCAD. Picked up 3D printing as a hobby in the last year or so, put really like the design part.

Have some flash lights, where the plastic adapters didn't hold the battery properly, so they would slide off the contacts. So I needed something that would adapt a 18650 battery to a 26mm flash light. I usually use OpenSCAD for my designs, so they end up being parametric. So basically you can create any sleeve you need with any size batteries. I created a 18650 to 26xxx, but you can do a 14650 to 27xxx or anything you need. You could do AA to C, etc.

Save me the time of making one myself. I refer people to it, for some of my tool organizers.

Next up in my series for Multiboard ( https://mutliboad.io) I needed something to hold my tape measures. Found a lot of good designs, but some were screw in, HSW or something else. Or they were to large or to small to fit right. So I went to my OpenSCAD files and whipped up a holder for tape measures that you can configure for any length, depth, placement of the tongue. Also you can select your mount, Multiboard, HSW, Opengrid etc. Put a tape measure anywhere.

Latest in my set of tool holders. Started off as T-Handle hex holder, but I made some changes to allow more customization. You can select the hole sizes on each end to make it graduated, or make them the same size to give you a slot to hold tools. You can select the distance you want to hold more or less tools. Has a bunch of uses, such as Screwdrivers, Files, Chisels, etc. As well as any T-Handle uses. Plus you can pick any mounting system you want.

Built on some of my other models, this is a flexible parametric model that allows you to build a holder for paints, tubes, lipstick, hex bits, etc, any round object. You can build it as wide or small. You could even make it for standard spray paint cans (except I wouldn't go beyond two rows).

Needed a way to store my Danish Building Bricks, while doing a build. Wanted to sort them out into different part categories, etc. Looked around and what I found were some good designs, but not flexible. Some the storage box sizes were fixed, others the bins were fixed size ( if you needed large bins for long parts).

As mentioned in other models, I am switching a lot of my pegboards to Multiboard (https://multiboard.io). Wanted a flexible holder to hold the T-Handle Hex tools, or any other tools, like screw drivers, etc. Shared this with the community.

I have a number of old CPUs lying around. I printed some other models that I found, but they didn't stack well. I am trying to standardize on Gridfinity, since I can stack and organize them.

I needed some retention clips to hold together some filament baskets. Like most projects I use OpenSCAD, and decided to parameterize the inputs so it can make any clip I may need.

I really like this Filament Rack “Filament storage stack Bambu boxes stackable trays” (https://makerworld.com/en/models/1245165-filament-storage-stack-bambu-boxes-stackable-trays#profileId-1266440). It prints easy and is pretty light weight. I needed to put high stacks side by side and get them a little more stable. Could have used tie wraps, but instead created some retention clips to hold the stacks together.

Needed a way to store Battery Crates that I already printed on Multiboard (https://multiboard.io). Most of the models take the crates and just add connectors. Really didn't see too many shelves. So I put this together to allow me to stack some crates, close to the board. It allows crates to be easily moved around. It handles a variety of crates with the recessed potions of the tray.

Nice build, the only thing is that for the roof, either make it a shell or change the infill, I went with Gyroid at 7%.

Wanted a way to have airflow through the rack with storage drawers in place. Since Open Rack supplies the base, I added hex panels to allow airflow. There are both 1U and 2U versions, in 105mm and 210mm depth.

I use both Multiboad (https://multiboard.io) and HSW (https://www.printables.com/model/152592-honeycomb-storage-wall) to hold and display items. I started using some SCAD libraries that allowed L- style bricks to be used in the design. So I built a display stand that allow the Brickheadz to be either on Multiboard or HSW walls.

Started using Multiboard (http://multiboard.io) and I needed to build a Pegboard Wall, where I didn't have a wall to support it. Going for a 4'x4' wall and it is going on the back of a metro rack, above my workbench. Short of putting up a sheet of drywall, I built out some corner pieces to hold 1"x2:" wood strips to build a brand, and some center pieces to run stringers down to give me a place to anchor the stand offs.

I was building a rolling filament rack out of Ikea Lack and Kallax parts. I used the legs for a Lack Unit to provide structure and Mutlboard down both the sides to hold parts as well as to hold the rod spans for the filament rack. You can see sides in the picture.

The model worked for my needs (saved me from having to build it). Works great for Ring batteries, needs about 2mm more to handle 3rd party batteries. Those are very tight, they fit but I had to force them in.

I bought a set of thin wrenches for another 3D project off of Amazon. Needed to come up with something to store them in, so I went with a Gridfinity base to match my other Gridfinity storage. I really like the Gridfinity system for storage, there are plenty of solutions for any storage need. Easy enough to remix with OpenSCAD.
