This easy-to-print broom holder uses a rolling gear and the broom's own weight to securely clamp it in place. Just lift the handle slightly as you push it in place to lift the gear, and then let it settle back down to lock in place. To remove, just lift the handle as you are pulling outward. Accommodates handles from 21mm to 28mm diameter.I've supplied two versions of the holder: One that mounts with standard drywall screws, and a second which mounts with my <a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/150182-drywall-nubs" rel="nofollow">Drywall Anchor Nubs</a> (file included here). Mounting holes should be 25mm (1 inch) apart.Prints with standard PLA, no supports or anything else fancy needed.To assemble, position the gear near the top of the rack and place the back-end of the gear into the slot in the back of the holder. You can then tilt the front-end of the gear into the rack. The 4th photo shows how the gear is kept from popping out. There is a lip along the front edge of the rack that keeps the gear from sliding towards you, and there is a little nub at the top of the rack that keeps it from rolling off the top end.It grabs wooden handled brooms nicely. For metal handles which are slick, just add a couple of loops of a small rubber band on the tapered part of the gear.UPDATE (3/27/22): I've augmented the lip that holds the gear in place, as one user had had problems with the gear slipping out forwards sometimes.UPDATE (8/4/22): I've added a version with 3 screw holes, making it easier to mount into a stud.&nbsp;

This miniature replica captures the essence of the renowned Extra 300 aircraft, complete with a rotating propeller. While you have the option to securely affix the canopy with glue, it's worth noting that, in my model, the canopy snapped securely into position without the need for adhesive. Twist the propeller against the airplane's body until it clicks securely into place, allowing the propeller to spin effortlessly.&nbsp;In the absence of an AMS, you can print the canopy and the propeller in the same color. Alternatively, you can print these components separately, allowing for customization with distinct colors.&nbsp;EDIT: (1) I have successfully printed a second airplane using different colors. However, attaching the propeller was more difficult the second time. I had to twist the propeller in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions while applying firm pressure against the body until the propeller locked into place. Once attached, it should spin with minimal effort.&nbsp;(2) I advise against using PLA silk for printing because the pin for the propeller can break easily, as mentioned in the comments. In my prints, PLA+ from Sunlu was remarkably strong, and I have not had any issues with it. I guess that other brands of PLA or PLA+ (whatever that means) should also be fine. If you have any problems, please leave a comment below.&nbsp;(3) This toy does not glide.

2024-01-12: Changed the locking pins to have more strength and better alignment. This model is designed to work with my <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/models/78138#profileId-82402" rel="nofollow noopener">Wall Control Universal Mounting System</a>.It uses some parts from that package in addition to the STL models in this package.&nbsp;This will hold four Craftsman Hand Drivers. Connect the wings to each side of the back plate using biscuits and slot it into the pegboard. This is a remix from <a target="_blank" href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1322545" rel="nofollow noopener">Frank Lumien's great design</a> (on the right in first picture, remix is on the left). I had bigger screwdrivers than his biggest holder managed to fit in, so I edited his design to make it a little bigger one.My own print of this failed a little bit (second pic), because filament wasn't cleanly rolled, but as only one funnel failed, it still filled my need. You don't need supports on this, but brim helps keeping this on bed. And remember to use quality filament and none of cheap crap like BQ that I used.Screw holes fit Biltema pegboard, holes are 4mm wide and 12mm apart from each other and it is sold in Scandinavia, but there are other brands around the world with same diameters. You can also attach this to wall with wood screws.This one takes 20 meters of filament (60 grams).
