<p>Battery dispenser for AA batteries.</p><p>Push the lever and a battery will be presented.</p><p>Can hold 26 AA batteries.</p><ul><li>Adjustable width for smooth, problem-free loading of batteries. The width is critical to prevent fly-out or jams while loading batteries</li><li>Accepts all standard size AA batteries. (≤Ø14.5mm)</li></ul><p><strong>Please use designer print profiles as these are the only ones that are always up to date.</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Also, check out this in an <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/models/396440#profileId-297756" rel="nofollow noopener"><strong>AAA version</strong></a> and the<strong> </strong><a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/models/198851#profileId-219450" rel="nofollow noopener"><strong>AAA Mechanical Battery Dispenser Slide</strong></a><strong>.</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Printed model consists of 2 print profiles, “V3 Main Parts” (0.2mm) and “V3 Leveling Parts” (0.15mm).</p><p>3 plates of parts:</p><ul><li>Main parts. 0.2mm layer height:<ul><li>Painted 2 color print(2 filament changes). <strong>~5h5m </strong>(For one color print, set both filament slots to the same color)</li></ul></li><li>Guide rail. 0.16 layer height. 1 color. <strong>~1h4m</strong></li><li>Leveling knobs. 0.16 layer height. 1 color.<strong> ~44m</strong></li></ul><p>For the leveling knobs I have had success with 0.15mm tolerance, but I have also added an option for 0.2mm.</p><p>There is a print plate containing test prints to check which is best for you (left one is 0.15mm), as well as separate plates for all knobs with either tolerance.</p><p>The knob should snap free with minimal force and should have minimal play in the axial direction.</p><p>Print sequence is by object, as this has given me best results when printing multiple.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Assembly:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Tools needed:</p><ul><li>Flat head screwdriver ~3.5mm.</li></ul><p>During assembly always check rotational freedom of the lever after each step. If it binds, check if the printed parts are smooth. Cut away any faults in the print.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>1.</strong></p><ul><li>Insert the lever in the casing. There is a slotted hole in the casing which needs to line up with the lever pin. Push to insert, and rotate multiple times both ways until the rotation is more or less friction free.</li><li>Repeat steps above for the other side.</li></ul><figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/771614/2024-02-11_39cb8ba348c5c.png"></figure><figure class="image image_resized" style="width:16.69%;"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/771614/2024-02-16_696d5b597a4e5.gif"></figure><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>2.</strong></p><ul><li>Insert the inner stoppers on both casings, protruding inside the lever groove, and insert the mid plate. The plate will keep the stoppers locked in place.</li><li>Do the same for the front stoppers, and insert the front plate.</li></ul><figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/771614/2024-02-11_5da3f8c4a6d3c.png"></figure><p><strong>3.</strong></p><ul><li>Insert the handle. Check that the handle can move freely up and down.</li></ul><figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/771614/2024-02-11_03b3c1c458c53.png"></figure><p><strong>4.</strong></p><ul><li>Insert the springs. They should be inserted as shown in the pictures, with the pin at the lowest point.</li></ul><figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/771614/2024-02-12_28498c0d0830b.png"></figure><ul><li>Tension the springs and put the pin in the lever.</li><li>Insert the lower stiffener (Top in below picture).</li></ul><figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/771614/2024-02-12_7320db61e4d09.png"></figure><ul><li>Insert spring guides as shown. The flat one is friction fit into the cut-outs on the mid plate. The spring center one is dove-tailed.</li><li>Check the handle movement after this step, make sure it moves to its end (top) position by itself.</li></ul><p><strong>5.</strong></p><ul><li>Check the quality of the threaded bolt.</li><li>Use the printed tool to hold the leveling knob. Rest the bolt against a table and carefully, with no excessive force, turn the screw while holding the tool until it snaps free. Once free there should be minimal play in the axial direction. Do this for all knobs. If the knob is stuck, try the 0.2mm tolerance version.</li></ul><figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/771614/2024-02-12_411dce1e012b4.png"></figure><ul><li>Trial fit the knob bolts in the guide rail threads. There might be some initial friction here, so enter the threads and turn a few degrees, then back again, then gradually increasing the turn for each go back and forth until the thread is completely set. Be patient here, don't use excessive force.</li></ul><p><strong>6.</strong></p><ul><li>Push in the leveling knobs in the casing. There is a slot in the knob and in the casing that should match up.</li><li>Use the printed tool, and twist the knob clock-wise until it sets. No need to overtighten. For the lower one you have to push the handle down to gain access.</li></ul><figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/771614/2024-03-17_5afc523ed3444.png"></figure><ul><li>Insert the guiderail on the opposite side of the casing, and screw in the bolts. Do a couple of turns for all, then go back and gradually tighten in multiple goes until all bolts are seated. <strong>The guiderail and its position is what keeps the batteries rolling smoothly down when loading the dispenser</strong>. Too wide and the batteries will fly out, too narrow and the batteries will jam.</li></ul><figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/771614/2024-02-12_7ac74cca77c45.png"></figure><p><strong>7.</strong></p><ul><li>Final step is to install the last 2 stiffeners.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Width adjustment:</strong></p><ul><li>To <strong>widen </strong>the gap, turn the bolt <strong>clock-wise.</strong></li><li>To <strong>narrow </strong>the gap, turn the bolt <strong>counter-clock-wise</strong>.</li><li>Start by turning all the bolts on full turn counter-clock-wise.</li><li>Grab your battery and insert it in the dispenser and hold it in front of the leveling knob. Adjust the knob so there is minimal play in the battery's axial direction. Continue this for all knobs.</li><li>Once done, release the battery from the top and observe its rolling down the slide. <p><strong>1/2/2024 UPDATE: </strong>I have incorporated several minor design improvements to the parts to improve clearances, ease of printing, and ease of assembly. Parts require fewer supports as well. These updates are included in the <strong>Jet Engine Model for Kit-006</strong> print profile. <span style="color:hsl(240,75%,60%);">This is the latest and greatest profile, so I highly recommend using this from now on. </span>The parts from the previous release, now renamed<strong> (OLD) Jet Engine Model for Kit-006</strong>, are still compatible with these new parts, however, so you don’t have to reprint the whole thing if you don’t want to.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Overview:</p><p>A cutaway model of a 2-spool high bypass turbofan. I designed the whole engine from scratch with cues to certain existing engines. For example, I think Rolls-Royce makes the best-looking fans, so there&#39;s some resemblance there... Since originally uploading to Thingiverse in 2016, the popularity of this model has grown far beyond expectations. The model has appeared in numerous publications, additive manufacturing expos/conferences, and is (for better or worse) being made and sold by a number of 3rd parties. However, rest assured that this is one of the official sources for this model. A bunch of remixes of this engine are out there, mostly in Thingiverse at the moment, if you are so inclined. I&#39;ve also designed an <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/models/158422" rel="nofollow noopener">alternate fan for this engine</a> that more closely resembles GE and P&amp;W engines. Check it out!</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I uploaded a diagram with labels to all parts for reference. Now I&#39;ve seen some similar AMS risers before, but none of them really wowed me.. i think..</p><p>That&#39;s why I decided to come up with this sleek BLV AMS Riser design, easy to use, easy to put together, and reliable. I even added two handy drawers for your tools and stuff, a special shelf that can hold up to 4pcs Build Plates, built-in Dual LED strips. Sure, it took me a while, but I got it (almost..) done.</p><p>As some of you may know, I love contributing to this wonderful community, which is why I chose to share with you my project without any fee or money.
