Enjoy a nice key-chain of the legendary energy sword from Halo. I would suggest to print it at least 65mm or even 70mm long. A bit of sanding is required at the tips of the sword for them to be smoother. &nbsp;I uploaded 2 models. The difference is the semicircle in Halo Energy Sword Keychain 2 model does not touch the bottom and needs support just like the handle area, but it might be more aesthetically pleasing for someone.

My latest design - A useful print in place Bi-Directional Ratchet Driver. Strong and durable, ratchet mechanism fully tested. Prints fully assembled and working, with a comfortable ridged and knurled design. &nbsp;Fit a driver bit to tighten or loosen screws etc. Just flip the bit to the opposite end for reverse direction. Recommend using an extension for easier fitting and removal of bit. Uses just 29g of filament. Recommend printing in PETG for long term durability, will also add a tested PLA profile &nbsp;Can also be used as a fidget roller, making a satisfying clicking noise with each twist.&nbsp;&nbsp;

What makes this design different from a typical switchblade is that it not only ejects the blade when the switch is pushed forward but retracts when the switch is pushed backwards. This means it does not need to be manual reset like a classic switchblade. There are supports on the handles, carriage, and blade. You can use the assemble animation and photos below as a reference of what it should look like after supports have been removed.A video showing how to assemble the design is located below.&nbsp;In addition to the 3D-printed parts this design requires additional hardware. It requires 3 screws, 2 springs, and 2 to 4 rubber bands. I have included the links to the exact parts required but they come in large packs that may not be convenient if you are making only one knife. A more affordable option would be going to a hardware store and finding substituents. You can also take screws and springs from a Nerf gun.When assembling first check that the carriage (the part with the blade inside of it) slides freely inside the handles. Then check that the blade slides freely inside the carriage. If anything does not slide smoothly sand down contact surfaces. For the design to work properly the latch springs and rubber band tension must be just right. This can be calibrated my changing the number and type of rubber bands. For the springs I have I like to use two strong rubber bands (one on each side) and two weak rubber bands (one on each side). The design also works with asymmetric rubber band arrangements. i tried making a new type of suspended model for my Star wars collection.. The Fuse and Spoon also needs supports.&nbsp;Assembly<ul><li>The top lid screws onto the bottom </li><li>The fuse slots into the top</li><li>The Spoon slides into the fuse with a notch and the pin holds it.</li></ul>It should be possible to assemble without any glue, the Fuse should have a tight fit in the Top but I'd recommend adding a few drops of glue for a permanent hold. The Pin also has a tight fit as well but should slide in and won't need anything to hold it.&nbsp;If there's props or models you'd like to see just let me know and i'll do my best.
