It all depends on what you want to design. If you want to design adapters or technical stuff then consider FreeCAD. If you want to design articulated snakes and figures then I guess Blender would be a more capable choice, although I personally found it has a steep learning curve. FreeCAD is open source and can do most, if not all the things that proprietary CAD software can do. It's also available for all platforms. Plenty of tutorials on YouTube and “they” can't take it away from you or impose restrictions on use.
Hello! I am wanting to switch from tinkercad to a new software. The question is, what software should I use? I am wanting a software that is easy to learn and use, but doesn't have the limitations of tinkercad.
