I needed a consistent, hassle-free, low-cost and dust/lint-free way, to install Screen Protectors on Smart Phones. I could not find anything on MakerWorld, so I made one...

I do not prefer using lose/bulk silica gel because it is messy. I get powder/tiny particles like glitter everywhere which I definitely do not like. Therefore, I opted to use desiccant silica gel in bags/packets. Clean, easy to transfer and easy to keep track of its saturation levels.
But I could not find a way to dry them in my Filament Dryer and stacking them on top of each other, made it impossible for them to dry. All the models that I found are catering bulk silica. So I made my own!

no issues with the printing profile but there needs to be some angle to allow for the LCD screen to be visible... it's very hard to see at 90 degrees

loose fit but it could be because I used silk+ PLA

used gold silk+ PLA and got some defects at some of the feet, not on all of them though, which is weird. The connectors were very loose so I had to use glue. maybe silk+ isn't a good material for this but the frog doesn't jump as nicely as the demo video. anyway. good enough for what it is. thanks.

X1C printer: first attempt on a Bambulabs textured PEI plate with ASA failed after 20 layers or so. it detached from the plate and I got spaghetti. I switched to Bambulabs smooth PEI plate with glue stick and had no issues. the part just falls into place. it doesn't clip, which is fine. thanks!

I could only find a similar water bottle holder but not for the Bike+ model, which is incompatible.
Yes, you can also buy this online but where's the fun in that?
So, after many iterations, miscalculations, etc. here's my first version free to help anyone with a Peloton Bike+ and a big water bottle!
Enjoy!

perfect print and actually useful! I tried PLA and I think the PETG-HF blades are better... thanks!

printed in PETG-HF with very few issues. like others mentioned, some unsupported minor shagging and stringing. the connector rods need another way to clip together, because it broke and I glued them together instead. it was a very tight fit, to sit it on top of the printer and I had to trim some material, otherwise, it just wasn't going in the inset. the PTFE tube now barely reaches but works. I was worried for its sharper angle due to the length. overall, impressive work for the scale of it!

used PETG-HF by Bambulabs. No issues with the print. needed a bit of force to clip into place but having the extruder cover off, helped me actually see what I'm doing. I didn't take a before photo but you can clearly see the after, which includes now a proper gap between the glass and the tube, whereas previously, it was scratching against it, leaving tube residue on the glass and eroding the tube in the process. and yes, I was getting frequent feeding errors, which is why I am trying this
