Hi everyone! I'm planning to make a custom LED sign for my studio, and possibly some for friends and family. I’ve got a good handle on building the enclosure/box itself, but I’m a bit stuck when it comes to powering the LEDs and managing the electronics side of things. I’d really appreciate some advice on the following: What kind of LED strips would be best for this type of project? I want to avoid wasting material and make smart choices from the start. How should I power the sign? I’d like to include a simple on/off switch and preferably avoid soldering if possible (though I can solder if it’s absolutely necessary). Are there plug-and-play solutions or connectors I should look into for a cleaner, easier build? Thanks in advance for your help! I’m excited to get started and learn more from the community here.
