This is a simple to build Super 8 film splicer. It allows you to easily cut your old film straight and use either film cement, super glue, or splice tape. Minimal supports required. Minimal hardware.

I was inspired by the classic artwork of the 1940’s era and decided to create this 8mm film holder, worthy of the films inside it. This film holder is designed to hold the classic 1940’s through 60’s style brown boxes. Printing the lid with the artwork I drew will require an AMS or AMS lite. Also, one M3 screw is required for the hinge.
When you flip open the lid you can quickly see all the titles from the ends of the boxes with the marquee peeking over the edge of the front box.

I designed this bushing as a replacement for what goes in the clutch assembly of a Bell and Howell model LX18 Super 8 projector. The projector reels started turning in opposite directions at the same time. No amount of clutch adjustment would fix it. It turns out that this part fails on one side or the other of the clutch. When that happens, the only solution is a replacement. When I purchased the projector years ago this was not possible. But with our Bambu printers it is, albeit decades later

This drive belt is for one of the many regular 8 or Super 8 projectors built in the 70s which use a square belt with V grove style pulleys. My very old Bell and Howell model LX18 belt lost tension which resulted in slow or stopped playback. I could not find a replacement except for generic O-rings that do not work well. So inspired by bringing this projector back to life, I designed my own. It is printed out of TPU and works perfectly. Compatible with MX60, 400 Series,Lumina II Series.

This retaining cap is for one of the many regular 8 or Super 8 projectors built in the 70s. Years ago, I lost mine for a Bell and Howell model LX18. So inspired by bringing this projector back to life, I realized that I could print my own! This cap should be compatible with most projectors from that era such as models: MX60, 400 Series Projectors, the Lumina II Series (MX60, LX20, LX30, LX58, etc.).

FLIP: Functional Linear Inclined Platform (HO Scale Operating Loader) Designed for vintage side-trip operating cars. This model is designed to facilitate the restoration of vintage operating accessories. It is specifically compatible with the bronze contact strips from the classic #933 log loader. It is also compatible with standard HO scale side-ejecting freight cars and discharge ore hoppers. Using FLIP, you can use the accessory with more modern track which has the roadbed built in.

This is a simple easy to print replacement weight holder compatible with the Lima E 410 001 engine. That is the Deutsche Bahn (DB) Class E 410 HO model. My holder has specifically been designed to line up with the internal “step” area the original weight conformed to. Only minimal supports are required during printing. Once printed, you place the bottom of the holder into the engine compartment, load your weights and put the cover on. No glue is necessary.

I came up with this set of designs which continues in my series of budget switcher engine rebuilds. Instead of using a can style motor replacement, it uses an N20 geared motor. Just like the other design, for only a few dollars you can get your broken switcher back into service.
This motor replacement makes the engine very slow, adding a high level of realism to the train. Also, because of the N20’s inherent motor noise, it actually does make the engine sound more like a real diesel engine.

This is a simple set of weight holders for HO model switch engines. They can be used to either replace lost weights or add weight. They use common hobby weight cubes available online and locally. Each holder has a lid which you can glue in place.

I created a motor mounting bracket and worm gear set so that if you an AHM HO Switch Engine, you can completely replace the motor with a much more modern one for very little money, and get you engine back into service. This is a very simple (and cheap) replacement and all you need is a few printed pieces, a couple of screws, and the motor.

I had a unique situation needing a 180 4-inch elbow for a duct feed from an old Nutone fan. With this 180 you can connect it to a Nutone box up against one joist, and loop around next to it with a straight section without any trouble. Each section is printed out of PETG to withstand the heat of an attic, and I coated each with water-based polyacrylic to seal the ductwork. In this application, I used the Nutone housing as a simple “collector” and installed a new inline fan in the attic.

I needed a bracket for mounting an electrical box between two joists without using nails, so I produced this design. The bracket mounts to the side of the joist using two deck screws and has an offset so you can properly install the faceplate. The box is retained in the bracket by two M3 screws threaded into the top and bottom of the bracket. Suggest printing out of PETG if you are going to use this to withstand any heat encountered.

This elbow printed really well. Unfortunately for my application it didn't work. But I loved the design of the internal ribs for locking the parts in place. Well done!

Come along, hop in! We’ll go for a jolly ride! This fun coaster is a tribute and inspired by one of the rides which no longer exists at WDW, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. This coaster is easy to print requiring no supports but does require an AMS. One can almost hear Toad singing, that they are on their way to nowhere in particular!

These downloads allow you to replace a broken idler gear and/or missing side railings for your Bachmann HO scale GP-40.
This gear is commonly used in many of the Bachmann series “pancake” style motors and frequently goes bad in these vintage engines due to splitting. For my use I printed this gear out of PLA, and it has worked fine under load for a long time, so I never had the need to try PETG.
If you are using the side rail, it is simply glued in place using CA.

I really like this design. It makes it very easy to work on HO train hardware. I uploaded a print profile which no longer requires the heat inserts for the base so you can quickly print and assemble. The foam used in my build is known as "pluck foam" which is cheaply available from places like Amazon. It is held in place with double stick tape for easy replacement. For those that go with this type of foam, here is a "pro tip" for cutting it. Use a straight edge as a guide and use a hobby knife to make multiple very light cuts, even letting the weight of the blade do the work. You will end up with a very nice, sharp edge making this designers great design look awesome. Thank you again for sharing such a wonderful design!

This is an easy print replacement coupler assembly for the LifeLike "TeaKettle" HO engine series. It allows you to easily replace a broken coupler on one of these engines so it can be back into service. Only minimal support is required and one M2 x 6mm screw. I have many hours of use with this assembly and have had no issues.

This coupler assembly is intended to replace the rear coupler on TYCO/Mantua HO engines which have failed or are missing. Typical the OEM coupler was held on by a small pin or rivet making it difficult to replace with anything. This assembly allows you to do just that (replace the missing coupler) with one that works.
