I run a VRD Carbon as a comp truck and had a clearance issue with the stock front portal weight. The top two screws were interfering with wheel fitment. The truck is running a SLW 225 and a set of customized Treal wheels. Even after switching from socket head cap screws to button head screws, I still needed about 0.5 mm more clearance.
To fix this, I designed and printed a set of shims to match the required spacing.

this made my WEEK!
suddenly I needed a mounting solution, and boom maker world community to the rescue! fit was perfect even in white ASA. and my issue was solved with a fast no fuss, But elegant solution. when I post to reddit ill include full install pictures.

this has become my benchy, my wife likes roses so every new filament i pick up this is my test print! she gets another flower, I get a known great profile i can see the performance and features of a new filament with.

its part of a work in progress but, this is by far and above the best 1:10 pallet on Makerworld! I also printed the couch, PS. ill try to update photos after its painted, textured, weathered and complet.
