Why is color switching so poorly implemented? I have tried several different replacements for the X1C wiper, and they don't really work well. I have also tried changing Machine Start G-Code flush settings (which requires printing from SSD, as network printing will revert to factory settings) with no noticeable improvement. I bought this printer because I have been frustrated with poor multi-color capabilities in printers for several years, and the X1C with the AMS clearly PURPORTS to solve the multi-color problem, but it doesn't! I am burning through filament and am almost ready to give up on this machine, which is by far the best machine I've ever owned. Here are some questions (sorry about the ALL CAPS, but that is the only way I can provide emphasis): 1. When changing colors, the purge starts almost on top of the edge of the build-plate side of the purge chute, which creates little hooks that catch on the edge of the chute. In the middle of the purge, the print head moves a tiny bit to be more over the hole of the chute. The result is I have big solid blobs that are hooked on to the top of the chute by tiny strings of filament. HOW CAN THE PURGE POSITION BE ADJUSTED TO BE CORRECTLY OVER THE HOLE? 2. When a clog is detected in the "poop chute", the machine stops with the print head directly over the chute. WHY DOESN'T THE HEAD MOVE OUT OF THE WAY AND PARK TO ALLOW FOR BETTER CLEANING OF THE CHUTE? 3. If the clogs become big enough, the front of the print head that is held on with magnets will get knocked off. When the print resumes after it is replaced, the calibration is off, so the print is trashed. WHY DOESN'T THE MACHINE PERFORM AN X-Y REACLIBRATION AFTER THIS ERROR OCCURS? 4. I have a prime tower in multi-color prints. WHY IS IS NECESSARY TO ALSO PURGE FILAMENT? ISN'T THAT THE PURPOSE OF THE PRIME TOWER? 5. Why are there no user-friendly settings to adjust purge size and the location of the print head while purging? IS THERE ANY WAY TO TURN OFF CHUTE PURGING AND ALLOW THE PRIME TOWER TO DO ITS JOB?
