I wanted a lid holder that was modular meaning I could orient it either horizontally or vertically depending on the space I have in my cabinet, so I designed one. I added a slight taper to the outside walls so when in horizontal orientation, the lids have a tendency to roll into the holder and stay; this is important because the lids magnets can repel each other depending on orientation and want to push the lid out.
