First 3D printer end of May 2025
I printed the red one in PET-G, learned some of my batteries were slightly too long, and the maker added an extended version! I printed the extended one in two colors to indicate the extension, not because I ran out of medium blue halfway through the print. Thanks!

Top things I liked about this - it fits a decent size stack of standard cutoff wheels with room for a grinding disk or flap wheel. I wouldn’t load much more th

Nice, simple print. I may remember to use a flat instead of textured plate next time!

Printed two at a time in PETG, with 3 wispy strings. Perfect fit for 3/4” ANSI standard 5 TPI Acme thread broom heads, plus a slight taper to fit in a 3/4” ID broom handle or pipe.
Partial flat on taper was larger than expected, but absolutely not an issue. Realized after these give you a flat place to drill a screw hole!
These are SOLID, far stronger than the broken OEM versions.

Alternating PLA and PETG layers stuck together perfectly while printing, but were easy to split apart once completed. I was able to push in the side of a square a tiny fraction of a millimeter with my thumb to start splitting, then use my thumbnail around the outside to finish without tools.
There were 3 small pieces of red PETG hair left behind in the bottom layer, but it was a different brand of filament. They were small enough I didn’t even bother to pull them off.
