The panda model originally came from an origami design, which the creator adapted for 3D printing. The corresponding origami model can be found on Amazon or Taobao.During the printing process, I personally used tree-supports (for easy removal). However, there was upward bending in the bamboo of the model. I suggest that printers adjust the support structure based on their own printer settings. The upward-bent bamboo unexpectedly adds a touch of naturalness to the model, which turned out to be a pleasant surprise.&nbsp;这个熊猫模型原先来自于折纸模型，设计者将其制作方式改成了3D打印，相关的折纸模型可以在亚马逊或者淘宝上买到。在打印的过程中我个人使用了树状支撑（为了方便拆除），但模型的竹子部分出现了一定程度的上翘，建议打印者根据自身打印机的情况调整支撑的形式。上翘的竹子反而具备了一些自然感，也是意外之喜。&nbsp;

🎁 Don't you think the packaging of a gift is sometimes even more important than the gift itself? 😇&nbsp;Inspired by paper folded boxes, I created this folded gift box for 3D printing, totally costumizable and of course reusable! Perfect to add a fancy personal touch to any small gift ✨&nbsp;<figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/303826/2023-12-16_014b1c7d8f2ee.gif"></figure>&nbsp;&nbsp;You can add surface structure with a textured printing plate, as the outside of the model is the first layer. The model does not need to be glued together, the assembly is quite straight forward:&nbsp;<figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/303826/2023-12-16_fa2c1186897b3.gif"></figure>&nbsp;You can choose between unicolored or multicoloured and, of course, choose colors according to your personal preferences - I have printed multiple versions to inspire you! Please note that in Bambu Studio, the multicoloured version has some differences in height, which helps you to colour these areas. When you print the model, make sure the first layer is minimum 0,2 mm thick so that the model itself comes out without any height differences. I recommend printing the main model in white, as the folded edges will turn white with other colours and will otherwise be visible.&nbsp;&nbsp;Please only remove the V1 model from the printing plate when it has already cooled down, as some of the edges are very thin and may be damaged when removed. I already solved this issue with the versions V2 and V3, which are more stable. You can find more information about the models in my update information!&nbsp;&nbsp;Folded Box Size: Width: 63 mm Height: 40 mm&nbsp;&nbsp;UpdateinformationUpdate 16.12.2023:The first Versions "V1" has a few thinner parts that make it easier to fold. Unfortunately, depending on how well it is printed and melted, it is also possible that the model will be damaged. In addition, the closing of the box is not yet very easy for everyone.For this reason I have created two ✨ new optimized versions “V2” and “V3” ✨ These two versions V2 and V3 are more stable compared to the first version V1, especially because the folding edges are thicker. Also, the closure mechanism has been improved. Personally, I think it looks a bit nicer on top too 👌Compared to version 3, version 2 has a slightly tighter closure, but both versions are easy to close. In the gif above, you can see the closing of version 3. Feel free to test both, I am happy to hear which one you like better! Of course, both versions are also available in multi-coloured versions, so that you can customise however you like 😇&nbsp;Summary:V1: This is the first model version → thinner, easier to fold, but good printing settings are important!V2: More stable than V1 → And tight closure → Sometimes it could be a little too tight. In this case, the V2 box should be glued to prevent the box sides from opening when closing. ** Get an early start! Get the <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/models/41177" rel="nofollow noopener">Christmas version</a> now! **&nbsp;&nbsp;Light up different Halloween scenes in this display. A tea light candle is required. The display features a door that opens to allow access to the tea light. Use a section of 1.75mm filament inside the hinge to connect the door to the case. Depending on your printer/setup, this hole may be on the tight side or a bit loose. If tight, drilling out the hole may help. If it is slightly oversized, I suggest melting the end of the filament piece with a soldering iron or lighter.I have included a separate liner. This allows you to print the case in a dark color, but line the inside with a lighter color to allow for more reflection of light outward, making everything brighter.For a complete display, you will need:<ul><li>1x Case</li><li>1x Door</li><li>1x Knob</li><li>1x Snap Ring</li><li>1x Liner - Optional</li><li>1x (minimum) Scene - You can easily remove the snap ring to swap out scenes as desired</li></ul>Check out my other holiday models <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/u/1360890085/collections/23941" rel="nofollow noopener">here</a>.<h4>Print Settings</h4>No special setting are needed for the display case, door, knob, snap ring and liner. &nbsp;Scenes Print SettingsPrint the scenes with 100% infill. The scenes also require color changes:<ul><li>The top 2 layers should be black</li><li>If there is no moon in the scene, all other layers can be white or clear - both look nice</li><li>If there is a moon in the scene, it will look best if the bottom 2 layers are printed in clear filament<ul><li>All other layers should be white</li><li>All non-black layers could be printed in all white or all clear if one isn't available to you</li></ul></li></ul>&nbsp;<h4>Assembly</h4>Glue the knob into the door. Only a very small amount is needed.<figure class="image image_resized image-style-align-center" style="width:75%;"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/90743/2023-09-14_njhnxlluv3as.png"></figure>Put the door in place and latch it. Use a 20mm piece of 1.75mm filament to connect the 3 sections of the hinge. If the filament goes in very easily, it may be a good idea to heat up the top end of the filament ‘pin’ and press it flat. This will prevent the pin from falling through later on.<figure class="image image_resized image-style-align-center" style="width:75%;"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/90743/2023-09-14_ps9jc73zrxio.png"></figure>Open the door. Insert a scene into the opening (image facing outward). This may be a tight fit. The classic Othello board game (also known as “Reversi”), with pieces designed with a cute a Halloween theme, and ready for you to print! The board is designed so that it can slide into the provided box, allowing for you to nicely store all of the pieces and cleanly tuck it away on a shelf when not in use.&nbsp;All of the parts are designed for easy print (no supports or brim are required), and two different styles of playing pieces are provided (either Halloween themed, or the basic traditional style.) The pieces are designed so that they can either be printed in a solid color, or using color changes just at different layer heights (so you can achieve a beautiful multi-colored look even if you don't have an AMS or other multi-material system.) You'll need 64 pieces total for a complete game, and I've included a print profile here that will allow you to easily print 32 at a time.&nbsp;If you don't yet know how to play this game, it is a classic board game that is a lot of fun (for two players), and you can find some <a target="_blank" href="https://www.wikihow.com/Play-Othello" rel="nofollow noopener">quick rules here</a> if you need them.
