I resisted getting something like this until I had to constantly babysit my AMS. Especially with cardboard spools. I haven't had a SINGLE issue now that this filament is ALWAYS aligned! I love it!

I finally realized I needed to “upgrade” my AMS. I got tried of babysitting the AMS from constant stopping over the filament getting stuck for various reasons. so far the same rolls of filament that we’re getting stuck, seemed to be working fine! I also have a filament render, but it didn’t seem to help. The only issue I had with this is the Biden tube slips in and out too easily So I tightened up the hole where the tube goes into part and everything is working perfectly.
