You know that scene at the beginning of “2001: A Space Odyssey” where the protohuman for the first time in history figures out that a femur can be used as a tool/weapon? In that moment its mind is flooded with possibilities and in that fit of excitement it smashes the pile of animal bones in front of it - because from that point on nothing will ever be the same.
With the 3D printer I get to experience that feeling every day.
