I needed LED lights for product photography, so I ordered a bunch from AliExpress and Amazon. Most were disappointing - dimmer than advertised, and too stiff to position at the angles I actually needed.
While searching for better options, I found affordable but surprisingly powerful LED ring and disc modules - the kind normally used in ceiling fixtures. Since I'd already built the Lumetra photography stand system, I saw a chance to turn these into exactly the lights I wanted: powerful, adjustable, and easy to position. Many even come with a remote for brightness and color temperature control, and each module costs less than €8!
After testing several rings and discs over a few months (with help from a fellow photographer), the Lumetra Ring Lights were born, and it's finally time to share them.
The Ring Lights currently come in three sizes:
190 mm / 24 W
230 mm / 36 W
248 mm / 48 W (remote included)
I've also made enclosures for other sizes - like 150 mm and 220 mm, sourced locally from Praktiker - available on request. If you have a different size LED ring, I can design a custom enclosure for it too. A 220 mm / 60 W disc light enclosure (with remote) is also in the works and will be posted soon.
Paired with the Lumetra stand system, the ring lights work great for video, vlogging, bench work, or as a flexible desk light - mountable on surfaces with a table clamp or freestanding with the Lumetra bases.
Assembly is quick and simple. You'll need a few screws, some aluminum tape (to reflect light off the inner walls), an extension cable with switch, and a bit of cutting on the LED panel (Dremel or razor saw). A full step-by-step guide with pictures is included to make it easy.
Hope you find the LED Rings useful. Please share pictures of your builds and rate :). Enjoy!

I'm humbled to share that I reached the finals of the Photography Accessories contest on Makerworld and was honored to receive 1st place with my photography stand system, Lumetra. It’s been a two month journey of designing, prototyping, (re)printing, and fine-tuning. Just as I began preparing the descriptions and photos, the contest was announced, which felt like perfect timing.
If you think Lumetra is useful or interesting, I’d be grateful for a like or a boost. And please feel free to print one yourself and post your own shots — I’d love to see how you put it to us

Here are my latest bookmark designs. Each one took a full day to design, model, and test print. All elements are separate for easy recoloring to suit your taste. I truly loved creating them, and I hope you enjoy them just as much! If you do, a like or boost would mean the world to me. Thank you!

Many of the published earplug cases have fragile plastic locks or hinges and do not close tight, failing to keep the earplugs protected. To address these issues, I created a case with an extra internal wall for added protection. I hope you will find it useful!
