Bio
Mechanical engineering student with a passion for 3D printing, electronics and practical DIY projects. I enjoy designing useful parts for everyday problems — often combining 3D printed parts with ESP32, sensors, and small automation solutions. Many of my designs come from needs I encountered while studying, working on hobby projects, or improving things at home. Always happy to share when I find something that works well!
I wanted to start my PC remotely when I’m at university and need more performance than my laptop. The problem: my router didn’t support Wake-on-LAN, and my BIOS only allowed WOL in deep sleep — after a power disconnect, WOL stopped working.
My solution: an ESP32 with LED + photoresistor that triggers the PC power pins — works as soon as the PC is plugged in. Simple and reliable!
