I printed this as a temporary isolation for an aggressive fancy goldfish that has been bullying the other two goldfish by snapping at their fins. NOT mating behavior. They have adequate space and I've tried rearranging tank and everything else. so trying the isolation crate. unfortunately he figured out how to jump this, so I put a screen on top 😅

the design is simple ans brilliant. One of the few that requires no hardware. Simple physics. I used some short ones for my shelf, but I wasnt going to be able to make a tall enough one for the floor due to printer constraints, so I still needed to buy a tall plant stand. But great for the others!

Excellent file and print. Supports were super easy ti remove. I made one of the prints large for my 36 gallon aquarium and added a pause so I could fill it with some sand. Printed in PETG.

It works, but i kind od wish I would have made it wider. things get stuck constantly and I have to reach behind the printer to push it down the slide

i love this solution. No screws like my old bucket, and it doesn't move with vibration like my old bucket

pieces fit together well. the spacing of the internal bars though did not allow scrap to pass through as easily as I hoped. I cut the purge waste down manually quite a bit and still have had problems with it getting stuck. It's nice overall, but wondering if greater spacing would help for materials like the purge waste
