It all started during a late-night shoot when I needed to reposition my camera light. The light had a hot shoe mount, but I wanted to place it elsewhere for better lighting. I reached for an adapter—only to realize I didn’t have one. Frustrated and out of options, I decided to solve the problem myself.
With a bit of brainstorming and some CAD skills, I designed a Hot Shoe to Thread Adapter that could be mounted to a tripod while leaving the hot shoe free for other accessories.
