This is a 2 part sphere designed to capture a ½" steel ball. I wanted the weight and magnetic capabilities of steel but also wanted it to be glowing plastic for my modular marble track. Maybe you can find other uses for this. Handy for marble tracks as you can get different sizes of steel balls and scale the drawing accordingly. I would remake the threads for smaller balls though.
