We need to talk about the supports. Because this case isn't straight forward, we do need to use supports. I have a mixture of auto generated supports, and manually added supports. For example, I've used support combs on the exo skeleton to avoid z banding/wobble so that I could print vertically for best strength - and also I used a custom support plate that goes under the inner armour that can be peeled away (its super satisfying if you use TPU).

This is the first version of this remix and it seems to deliver very strong results. However, keep in mind that due to the print orientation, the Skadis click is in the weakest possible orientation - I originally designed it so that the layers printed laterally across the length, and I also intended it to be a folding print. With the Skadis Click attached to the base plate this is not possible. So I am considering remixing the baseplate further to mitigate this problem - stay tuned.

I have now also expanded on this by remixing Multipoint rails which allows support for multipoint sliders to be added to the Skadis board, which then allows you to add support for the Multibin base plate, Multibin Panel, and even a GridFinity version which is all provided for free here (look at my profile for the rail remix model).

The Skadis Click part is an original design by me that uses a special hooked design and ears that click into the Skadis hole with a very audible and satisfying click. I then remixed the Multipoint system onto the Skadis Click in order to interface the Skadis into the multipoint system, which then gives you access to the Multibin system and much more. I have also expanded on this by remixing Multipoint rails which allows support for multipoint sliders to be added to the Skadis board (see profile)

Firstly and most importantly, I have cut the model into 2 parts, so that in the the slicer you can rotate the snap in part of the connector so you can angle it which ever way you need to for your skadis board. Secondly I flipped the orientation, because A1 printers can bridge gaps fairly well - this will improve print quality. For the over hangs I have still used tree supports just to be safe, but you could try without.

The original generally wouldn't bare much weight. I decided I wanted to remix BalloonActivity model based on Itssunnyb original use a weight baring snap, and it would be better if I could use a bolt to lock the holder to the board - so I removed the top snap in favour for a 15mm hole to put a 18mm mid thread, flat head bolt. I use the folded version for the most strength given its print orientation. I then made the back plate thicker, and left the bottom snap as it was originally intended.
