This Thursday I plan to release a model many of you have been asking for, one of my older models called "mug shot". I originally worked on this model in 2023 for a youtube video. When people asked me if they could also somehow print it, I was at first a bit apprehensive to share it as it was one of those models I worked very hard on, if not the hardest. I had to figure out how to create the shattered mug effect, test tons of fluid simulations untill I finally found something that kind of worked, and make it somehow printable. After all of this the model honestly still contained a couple of flaws, not really visible on video. But now I feel more comfortable sharing it on makerworld because here my models are pretty well protected against people who try to steal my model or make money from it. In order to upload it to makerworld, I knew I had to dig up my old files, possibly dive back into those fluid sims, improving the splatter effects and the whole assembly proces.
