I printed the bottom half in pla wood and attempted to sand and stain it. 2nd picture is after sanding and I’m thinking I could have used like a wax finish at that point and forgo the staining because it didn’t do much. I used oil based stain with a coat of pre-stain and a semigloss finish. I think it definitely looks better than how it did right off the print bed. I also had some stain seep under the tape at the top, so I got this happy little accident that almost looks like it’s marble.thanks!
