My first printer was a RepRap Mendel that i built myself with laser-cut acrylic parts and hand-soldered PCBs. We've come a long way in the open source printer community (think Voron!) and I really hope that companies like Bambu who build on that will continue to give back to (instead of turning their back on) the community.
