Hey you all, I built a small project that kinda escalated: started as a simple turntable for product shots, ended up as a modular rotating platform. Core stuff: - D1 Mini (ESP8266) with browser-based control (no app) - fully 3D printed, easy assembly - quick-release top plate - magnetic power connection for modules (e.g. ring light) Why it’s useful: - smooth rotation for photogrammetry / 360 shots - easy to modify (STEP files, modular design) - cheap build (~<$60 BOM) Tried to keep everything hackable, not overengineered. I put it on MakerWorld mainly to build this further together with others and improve docs, design, and features over time. Not meant as a “finished product”, more like a solid base to iterate on.
