I finally uploaded my “Goddamnit, Donut!” lightbox to MakerWorld!
This design actually started as a cross-stitch pattern I made for my wife because we’re both deep into Dungeon Crawler Carl. After she stitched it, I couldn’t stop thinking about how good it would look as a glowing desk piece… so here we are.
The front plate is optimized for backlighting. Drop an LED strip behind it and the explosion absolutely pops. No supports, prints flat, AMS required unless you're a masochist.

Such a cool modular system!
I built my whole desk organizer setup around Deskware and love how clean, customizable, and expandable it is. Everything fits perfectly, the tolerances are dialed in, and it’s one of those rare projects that feels as functional as it looks.
After using it for a while, I wanted to add a little more personality to my workspace, so I made a Brick-Style Remix with studded panels, flush sides, and matching drawers and pulls. The fact that I could build directly on top of this framework is a huge testament to how well-designed the original system is.
If you’re looking for a modular desk setup that’s fun to print, endlessly remixable, and incredibly practical, this is the one.
(You can check out my Brick Remix For Deskware in my profile if you want your Deskware setup to feel right at home among your lego collection.)

Saw the giant brick skeletons on Reddit and knew I needed one. Scaled it up 190%, burned through 4 rolls of filament, and after a couple weeks and a couple fails I ended up with this big guy. Hollowed out his head to make a candy bowl for Halloween. He’ll be on our deck grinning at trick-or-treaters — spooky enough to be fun, goofy enough to make the kiddos smile.
