I designed this adapter to address a recurring issue I had with my Shaper Origin: the dust collection hose would constantly disconnect during use. To solve this problem, I engineered the adapter to securely lock the hose in place, ensuring a more reliable and hassle-free operation. Now, the hose stays firmly attached, eliminating interruptions and making the work environment cleaner and more efficient.

I wasn’t satisfied with the models I found online, so I decided to design my own. I wanted a Festool 35mm to 2½" adapter that locks securely, just like an original part — and this is the result!
