<h2>BLV - AMS Riser for X1C V3.1 Final</h2><figure class="table"><table><tbody><tr><td style="background-color: hsl(0, 0%, 30%)"><h3><span style="color: hsl(0,0%,100%)">Introduction</span></h3></td></tr><tr><td><p>I&#39;m Ben Levi, and I want to talk to you about this BLV AMS Riser that I designed:<br>So, when the AMS is sitting on top of the printer, you can&#39;t really see what the printer is doing, and you can&#39;t even open the top glass cover to let some air in when you&#39;re printing High temp stuff. basically, something that will hold the AMS and free your Glass top cover will be a good solution for that. Now I&#39;ve seen some similar AMS risers before, but none of them really wowed me.. i think..</p><p>That&#39;s why I decided to come up with this sleek BLV AMS Riser design, easy to use, easy to put together, and reliable. I even added two handy drawers for your tools and stuff, a special shelf that can hold up to 4pcs Build Plates, built-in Dual LED strips. Sure, it took me a while, but I got it (almost..) done.</p><p>As some of you may know, I love contributing to this wonderful community, which is why I chose to share with you my project without any fee or money. Among other things, I&#39;ve also given you access to the original CAD files (F3D,STEP) so that you can easily make changes, add, and improve as you see fit. Please, if you publish a remix, make sure to link it to the original project as a remix so that others can benefit from your effort. To initiate and successfully complete this project, a considerable amount of filament and time investment is necessary. <p>New England Patriots floating logo sign. THIS IS A MULTI-PART LOGO, that means it does not require an AMS! This is so the texture of the textured plate will be on the front of all the parts of the sign and to help achieve a 3 dimensional look as all the colors are different thicknesses. The different components (if large enough) are modeled with connecting pins to achieve a press fit, but a bit of CA glue doesn't hurt (ProTip- if CA glue cures without an accelerator, it may leave a smoky residue. If you apply a thin coat of WD-40 and wipe away, this residue will disappear). </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The base is modeled with an integrated hangar and standoff feet. </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The holes in the logo and base are designed to accept TPU adapters that allow the acrylic rods (with slight manufacturing diameter deviations) to be installed and removed easily, while remaining secure. These adapters can be found here- <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/models/39229#profileId-38178" rel="nofollow noopener">https://makerworld.com/en/models/39229#profileId-38178</a> . The inserts are designed with a 2 degree draft angle to lock them in place once installed. I generally print these in clear TPU or a matching color TPU if I have it. I included the F3D file in case you want to change the design to fit any dowel you may have (or print).
