This year I picked up the Creality Space Pi filament dryer 🔥. Every now and then I struggled to get clean, consistent prints — you know the deal: stringing, bubbles, weird surface textures. So I started testing the dryer with everything I had lying around: TPU, PC, PETG, PLA… basically the whole zoo of materials 🧵. And the crazy part? It worked. The prints came out noticeably better after drying — sharper layers, smoother surfaces, fewer fails 🚀. Bottom line: if you’re into 3D printing and your results are sometimes off, a filament dryer is absolutely worth it. The improvement will genuinely surprise you ⚡️.

I’ve been 3D printing for years, and like everyone else, I ended up with a growing box of leftover filament ♻️—failed prints, supports, little scraps that usually end up in the trash. At some point I realized: that’s wasted material and wasted potential. So I started experimenting 🔧. Nothing fancy, nothing expensive. Just a hands-on, homemade way to turn all those filament leftovers back into something usable. It became a little side-quest: how far can I push recycling with simple tools at home? This video breaks down exactly what I did, step by step 🎥. If you’re a maker, a tinkerer, or just someone who hates waste, this might spark something for you too 💡.(Edited)

Hi everyone, This is my first post, so please excuse any mistakes. Measuring the outer diameter of certain pieces can be tricky, so I came up with this tool that allows for both inner and outer diameter measurements. Tool dimensions: 75mm × 120mm Outer diameter measurement range: 5mm to 20mm Inner diameter measurement range: 2mm to 21mm Additional feature: A rectangular hole (2mm × 100mm) in the middle of the tool, allowing you to draw a straight 10cm (100mm) line.
