This openscad script lets you generate hexagon-based chainmail with different paving methods.&nbsp;To print correctly, you need to have the perfect first layer and retraction settings for your printer. If the nozzle has oozed too much, you may need to break up unwanted filament strings by gently moving the links.&nbsp;I have uploaded some generated .stl with the smallest links I can easily print for you to try. I also include the .3mf I used for my ender 3 v3 ke to print the models in the cover picture.

The Window_Thickness was not references in the sketch, it is now fixed and changing this parameter will modify the design.</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;We all know multi-color printing with the Bambu printers produces a lot of waste, mostly in the form of filament poop. My design doesn&#39;t help reduce the waste produced but it does help with giving it a purpose. This shadow box with customizable size and face plates is a great way to display the colorful waste in a fun manner. It is currently set as 0,2 mm and it worked perfectly for me.</li><li>Window_Thickness is for the thickness of the acrylic sheet. This will not affect the thickness of the face plate (1 mm)</li><li>Window_Horizontal is for the horizontal measurement of the acrylic sheet and face plate. Add the exact value without tolerance in mind.</li><li>Window_Vertical is for the vertical measurement of the acrylic sheet and face plate. Add the exact value without tolerance in mind.</li><li>Box_Depth is to adjust the depth of the shadow box as in making it more slim or thicker. This is the updated version of <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/zh/models/39368#profileId-38480" rel="nofollow noopener">https://makerworld.com/zh/models/39368#profileId-38480</a>&nbsp;I am really glad that there are many guys like this collapsible katana, and I do appreciate your suggestions and opinions.&nbsp;So I found some time and made a new one, addressing the following issues in the old one.<ol><li>The strength of the handle-guard connector. This time I combined the handle and connector together to enforce the strength.</li><li>The decoration on the handle is better to be multi colorred. So I made a new structure with the outer shell and inner shell to form the handle. With different colors of the shell, the handle now looks more real.</li><li>The blade guide is thicken so should not be easy to break now.</li><li>the disassemble structure are located at the tail now. And now only two pieces of filament could lock it.</li></ol>&nbsp;Some important suggestion and notes<ol><li>When printing the slide lock, I suggest to use the Cool/Smooth Plate. As when using Textured Plate, the thickness of slider sole is a little bit thicker than it should be, it might cause hard to slide.</li><li>Still need to use a little bit instant glue for the handle and guard, do not apply too much as it might glue the slider too. Don&#39;s ask why I know it :)</li><li>The holes to lock the tail and handle are printed without any support, so it might not be perfect. This might cause the filament hard to insert. I suggest to use a Hex Key 1.5 to clear the holes first.</li><li>The folding diameter of the rubber ring is 60 mm.</li><li>This time, the handle is printed with Support, and I have tuned it many times to perfect the rhombic holes. BUT it is still not perfect.</li></ol>If some one has better ideas, please let me know, or update your configuration here.

This is NASA fabric, it's a super satisfying sheet of hexagonal chainmail that you can fidget with our display. The model isnt fragile so play till your hearts content. The model is fully scaleable and a full bed print was included so you can create your own shapes by deleating indevidual hexagones. Simply import the STL raw model file into the slicer and separate the sheet into parts and delete the ones you don't want. For best results use a small layer size, I used 0.12 mm and it worked excelent. To change the face pattern, adjust the “Bottom surface pattern” I used the Concentric mode which left me with a beautiful hexagonal infill pattern.&nbsp;UPDATE:New geometry makes upgrades this model in every way-Prints in 4 hours at .2mm-Print on either face-More accurate triangle reduction-Slices faster-Less lag when moving in slicer-Now works at .2mm layer height&nbsp;There is also a dragon scale and scnake scale version available on my profile, it looks amazing and is themed for the year of the dragon! Its a great model to use on costumes with color shifting filament.

Although I originally wanted to use a freight train shape, it didn't seem to be very convenient to use. Finally, I chose to use the folder pattern of Win11 to create this swatch box work.&nbsp;Mainly divided into two plans 1.For display This allows me to quickly find the filament I need based on color. Therefore, the main body of the folder has an open angle, making it easy to switch between different colors quickly. For storage Due to the consideration that 64 colors may not be enough, and there may be a need for classified storage based on material or manufacturer.
