<h2>Toroidal Launcher</h2>This is an original design created for the <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/contests/5" rel="nofollow noopener">Flying Objects design contest</a> and features a handheld three-stage planetary gearbox that launches a toroidal ring over 3000 RPM! Align both planet carriers and hold them with one hand while holding the double ring gear in the other hand and slowly turning as you close the gear; once closed insert the assembly into the main housing to hold secure. The gears should spin freely; if they don't remove the gear assembly and repeat this step.</li></ul><figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/360322/2023-12-31_f1371c6d57ee6.gif"></figure><ul><li>Use the longer hex drive to connect the last set of gears and then assemble with the threaded cap as shown below.</li></ul><figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/360322/2023-12-31_4926c45fbbf51.gif"></figure><ul><li>Carefully mesh the single ring gear with the planet gears taking note of the 2mm flat section that is positioned towards the main gear assembly as shown below. Use the same method of rotating while slowly closing and covering with the cap to hold secure.</li></ul><figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/360322/2023-12-31_54c6fffceb4e5.gif"></figure><ul><li>Done! The assembly should spin smoothly with the output shaft making 48 rotations for every one turn of the input knob. Performance depends on printer tolerances and filament used; for best results use the include print profiles with Bambu Studio (supports many different printers). 由于我的设计的习惯是尽量减少打印时候的支撑和五金件的使用，因此设计大都采用了利用公差直接连接。由于打印机的误差和不同打印机以及材料的关系，难免有一些过紧或过松的情况，可能有一些地方大家需要打磨下，或使用双面胶收紧一下。&nbsp;需要使用4个686轴承和3个106轴承，一点点羽毛球缠把的手胶，一点点双面胶。具体安装方式请在B站上查看视频，以下是简明的安装说明：<a target="_blank" href="https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1dg4y1Z72X/?spm_id_from=333.999.0.0" rel="nofollow noopener">https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1dg4y1Z72X/?spm_id_from=333.999.0.0</a><figure class="media"><div data-oembed-url="https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1dg4y1Z72X/?spm_id_from=333.999.0.0"><div class="ck-media__wrapper" data-oembed-url="https://player.bilibili.com/player.html?bvid=BV1dg4y1Z72X&autoplay=0&poster=1"> <div style="position: relative; padding-bottom: 100%; height: 0; padding-bottom: 56.2493%;"> <iframe src="https://player.bilibili.com/player.html?bvid=BV1dg4y1Z72X&autoplay=0&poster=1" style="position: absolute; width: 100%; height: 100%; top: 0; left: 0;" frameborder="0" allow="encrypted-media" allowfullscreen=""></iframe> </div> </div></div></figure><ol><li>首先来连接前后轴<ol><li>由于要免支撑打印，因此在做这个转轴的时候才用了这个分离的结构，这样对准卡口放进去，用钳子稍微旋转，感觉紧了就可以了，不要过于用力，不然就拧秃噜了；</li><li>然后扣上这个686轴承待用；</li></ol></li><li>下面我们就用到这2个106轴承：<ol><li>1个扣到这里，预留的公差比较小，可以用个镊子或改锥什么的借个力。</li><li>另外两个同样方式，扣到这里。</li></ol></li><li>下面我们来装齿轮<ol><li>这个驱动齿轮公差留的比较小，安装前要先插上去再拔下来试下；</li><li>然后这样安装到位，悬空的这块先放着；</li><li>锥齿轮也是先把这个轴插拔一下，有时候由打印机的抖动，中间会偏粗，因此有需要的话，可以稍微打磨下；方法也很简单，可以用砂纸，我一般是用钳子这样撸几下就可以了。</li><li>然后压入第3个106轴承，尽量压到底，然后放入这个小的C型环，用来限位置。</li><li>最后用轴承连接上，转一下试试。</li></ol></li><li>然后我们把安装好的转轴压入。这里是参考了拓竹AMS的设计。为了限定转轴位置更准确，这里修改了设计，加了一个小的台阶，因此安装的时候要稍微向外侧掰一点点。</li><li>然后我们把支撑架放入开好口的干燥箱。然后用这个轴套连接。那这两个小的垫片是做什么用的呢？由于干燥箱的侧面不是完全垂直的，有一点点角度，因此可以选装这个垫片，可以让接口的地方更平整。</li><li>如果有对密封性要求比较高的话，这里可以用点胶或加一些TPU的垫圈都可以。</li><li>然后装上可拆卸的旋钮就可以了。上次有网友提出可以用手柄，很好的想法，但我懒得设计了，哈哈，主要这里空间有限，这次加大了旋钮的尺寸，感觉也挺好用的。</li></ol>
