Ever seen a Bambu Lab A1 Mini glow? I turned one into a working LED lamp for the Glow Within contest. (nah i made a new design lol) The star is a big translucent PLA filament drop that glows softly, plus a small translucent extruder cover. Slim IKEA LAMPAN fitting hides inside, with magnets, black screws & glue holding it all together. Looks just like the real printer – until you switch it on and the magic happens. It is a bit smaller though ;)

I designed this crown specifically for the MakerWorld “Crown” contest. The project took around 8 hours of design work, from initial concept to fully printable parts. My goal was to make something visually striking but still accessible to as many makers as possible—so no AMS is required, and I used simple, easy-to-find materials throughout.
