This is a 2nd Stage air filtration system based on thrutheframe's excellent <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/models/12786#profileId-24358" rel="nofollow noopener">Bento box recirculating air filter</a>. the goal of course being to remove as many VOC's as possible. This is a add on to the full bento box to add extra filtration. &nbsp;FEATURES<ul><li>Second stage air filtration that creates a sort of negative pressure system to filter air that comes out the chamber fan opening.<ul><li>I torture tested this by running it without the bento box on. on a 2 hour print with ABS the smell in the room became perceptible after about an hour, indicating that it was doing a pretty good job on its own. When used with the bento box even my wifes Burton Guster level supersniffer was not bothered.</li></ul></li><li>Air bypass ensures it is not pulling excessive air out of the chamber causing loss of heat retention</li><li>Can be turned off when not needed.</li><li>When off it works as an excellent exhuast muffler.</li><li>AMS compatible</li></ul>WHAT YOU WILL NEED<ul><li>I intentionally didn't include the hepa and carbon portions of the original bento box. It's very satisfying too!&nbsp;To imagine what you can expect from this hand roller, grab two markers and spin them around each other. See how nice that is? This model was made in aim to replicate this with the use of (4) 608 ball bearings.&nbsp;**Update 2 - 11/17/23- Updated all print profiles with support free rollers.- Removed unnecessary filaments- Added and additional key to profiles only containing one.&nbsp;**Update 1 - 11/17/23 - Added five additional textured rollers for a better experience.&nbsp;Don't have any metal bearings? This is my second design trying to come up with a solution for the “Jumping Spool” issues. I shared my first design “<a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/models/37390#profileId-35773" rel="nofollow noopener">AMS SPOOL GUARD”</a>, but after that… I tried to document and learn a bit more to understand why do the spools jumps in the first place. I shared some slow-mo video on facebook groups and got so many feedbacks (and mockings) I think understanding the cause would help come up with a better solutions… I think up to 3 things contributes to the spool jumps 1. When the filaments are low, the angle becomes sharper / steep.. so the extruder makes a more forward pull instead of downward… 2. Extruder speed is faster than the Front Roller, so it was holding it back (plus sharper angle too) 3. Tangled filament so for Tangled filament, it's probably for someone smarter than me to solve lol I am attempting to eliminate or at least reduce cause number 1, which is height differences. First try, I tried to modify the first design, and move the “bar” from the back to the front, using the same mount (which was a nice secure spot mount it) The problem with that idea I don't have a place for the mount for the left and right side of the AMS… <img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/613353/rich_content/e37c8aab-0f0a-44d0-b74a-ccb176d3b0da/screenshot-2023-10-13-at-21225-pm.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%226533e8de-8244-4d91-8f45-3027d0872bba%22%2C%22w%22%3A2424%2C%22h%22%3A1488%7D">&nbsp;I also tried the suggestion using the AMS Button + a longer PTFE attached This helped to reduce the wear and tear but it the ptfe tube is so flexible so it will still bend and the spool jumps too. I wanted a better fuzzy skin sampler that shows how it prints on contours, and with the option to print in multicolor so I made this. Displays a variety of 15 fuzzy skin setting combinations in Bambu Studio from 0.8 / 0.3 (very fuzzy) to 0.1 / 0.1 mm (slightly fuzzy) and a one control sample (no fuzzy) for comparison.
