Just published the custom brackets I designed for my DIY softbox project under an IKEA BESTA cabinet — no drilling required! These 3D-printable mounts use the existing M8 screw holes under the cabinet to securely hold a wooden softbox frame. I designed them to house a Philips Hue light strip and diffusion fabric for a clean, ambient lighting setup — inspired by Matthew Encina. Perfect for setups, coffee corners, or anyone looking to add soft, smart lighting under a floating cabinet.

I love the Grovemade Desk Shelf, but its 4.2 cm clearance was too tight for gear like the CalDigit TS4 or Scarlett 2i2. To fix this, I designed custom riser feet that come in two variations: a short version that lowers the overall height to 8 cm for a compact look, and a tall version that keeps the original height but boosts the internal clearance to 4.7 cm. Now my dock and audio interface fit perfectly, keeping my desk clean while preserving Grovemade’s minimalist style.
