Love this model! The print settings for X1C are perfect. I used BAMBU desert tan PLA. It was the longest print ever for me (12+ hours) with lots of praying nothing would goof up on my side. After it was finished I took it to the sink and filled it full of water. After 5 minutes I noticed many minuscule drips forming on the outside lower half. Initially crushed thinking I had just wasted 300+g of filament, I hit the internet looking for a sealant. An hour later I came back to empty the container and all the leaks had sealed! The outside was dry and the paper it was sitting on was dry. There are many ways it could have self-sealed itself. I won’t go into them here. The leaks were caused by issues on my side, not due to the model. Thanks for modeling this and making it public!

Needed a good paint mixing tool and didn’t have time to go to the hardware store. Sure enough took a look here and found the perfect mixer. I wasn’t sure how it would hold up to PLA but it did just fine. I mixed a brand new one gallon can that was full to the top and unfortunately I couldn’t get the tool to the bottom without dunking my driver. Will need to make an extension for this.

This is exactly what I needed for my Drybox. I appreciate that everything is organized so that I break down the printing in several sessions.

No issues. Works as designed. I used ABS and I can see already that my nozzle is staying more clean than before.

A very solid design that works extremely well. I really appreciate the clips with the tabs on them. I really struggled with the tabless clips. I used ABS for all the parts. I had to reprint the filament guide as it printed poorly. I could not get the PTFE tubing through the hole in it. I changed it to a higher quality and it printed perfect. Be careful with the little ears on the filament guide as they can break easily. I printed the crank with ABS-GF. No issue. I highly recommend this design if you need to respool filament.

I love the ingenuity in the design. I tried it out for a month, but one of the pills I take was slipping under the scraper and I ended up missing a day and taking two the next by accident. Damn the tiny pills!

I really like the minimal design. Don’t be fooled, it is still very strong, easy to assemble, shorter print time and still works very well in the AMS.

Wife needed a backpack hanger at work and this was the trick! Printed in PETG white. It’s super strong and she loves it!

Perfect first time! The print finished around 11pm. I quickly showed it to my wife. She took it from my hand, looked at it, and decided to give it a try. Before I could stop her, she gave it a blow and woke the whole house up. She said the look of panic on my face was priceless! It is very loud and with a short puff. This is now every family members carry whistle!

Very cool design! When you print this be sure to leave a gap in the assembly in case you want to adjust it. I put mine all the way together and could not get it apart without a significant amount of force and prying. The tolerances are extremely tight.
