One Saturday, my dad was cutting and folding cardboard. He held up a tiny flat prototype with a tab and said: “Son, I need you.” The cardboard insert was meant to hold a phone on a lanyard. Simple, funny, but brilliant. With 3D printing, this little idea became a solid, practical gadget. Sometimes listening to older folks leads to surprisingly genius, simple solutions that actually work.

Nothing irritates me more than a constant mess in a drawer with lids and containers. That's where I got the idea to design lid holders for containers from the PRUTA series from IKEA.
