Two weeks after getting my first 3D printer, I found myself needing bar ends for my new fixed-gear bike. I didn’t have any on hand and didn’t want to order generic ones, so I decided to make my own. I designed a simple plug but added a fun touch—a middle finger icon. Printing was easy, but getting a snug fit took some trial and error. I finally figured out that two rubber washers per end (10mm hole, 2mm thick) made them fit well enough.
