Oh no the the Elves in our house are getting smarter. They've discovered they can more easily hide out of sight and use binoculars to keep an eye on everyone from their perches all over our house. Also, now they even have special radios that they can use to discuss what they have seen with each other, or even Elf HQ up at the North Pole.

Every year there are always a few people who are just hard to shop for around the holidays and we inevitably end up just getting them a gift card. I just thought this would just be a fun way to present a gift card to a few of those folks this year.

I have seen the “Just in Case” joke boxes forever, a few years ago I crudely edited one of the models to make the “Just” part removable and scaled it to hold a gift card for my brother. I recently decided to revisit this idea and made this purpose built model specifically to be a gift card holder that includes a “Just” insert to complete the classic pun. I also tried to make this model more than just a joke, and the box can also actually be used to just store gift or bank cards as well.

What software is everyone using for mesh modeling? I have been using Onshape for CAD style modeling but I have always wanted to start learning mesh modeling as well. I tried using Blender but that software is not user friendly for a beginner.
