Heya! Hoping for some help here! I’m looking to print something where I start with a layer of PLA transparent, then add a couple of layers of a design with PLA basic in the centre, and then have a very thin layer of the PLA transparent again on top. How would you set this up in the slicer for AMS? I have my base and then the final transparent layer as separate STLs. I thought I’d done it correctly, but when I went to slice it, my central PLA Basic design had disappeared!

Hi guys!! New to 3D printing and was wondering if any of you could help me out with something! I’m doing some 2 colour printing using PLA basic and PLA transluscent- but the way the object gets sliced you can see the white in the transluscent!! I get that its so the print will hold together well- but was wondering if there was anything I can do to reduce its visibility!! Any comments much appreciated!!
