I wanted a spool tray. Didn't want to have to print a bunch of individual holders out. Wanted something long for a 3 foot shelf. Don't/cant drill holes for the dowel type holders. Not too mention by the time you factor in the cost of dowels you are close to cost of a roll of filament. So I created a modular spool tray system that can be adapted from aprrox. 2 foot to 6 foot. Even longer if needed.
